An illustration based on my sister Sadie and I when we were kids. We'd play with Barbies and My Little Pony's all the time.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

This is an illustration based on the poem "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" in my vision.

I wanted to bring to life the brooms with something more than just animation so I added the light effect with the swirls to bring more magic to the scene.
The color palette is mostly muted except for the brooms which hold contrasting colors to create more separation from the depicted world shown.
